We bought this guide and it’s been a great introduction to new hikes in Oregon. I love how this book includes fun ideas for kids, like a scavenger hunt for every single hike.

Thirty-two of the hikes are in Oregon, with the rest in Washington. All hikes are under 4 miles on easy to moderate trails.

Also included are family “must know” details like bathroom information, places to grab a snack, and maps with intuitive directions.
